I came into the naturopath process with a lot of hope. The first appointment was mainly focused on organising testing, which I understood. However, the second appointment was disappointing. I was given a five day meal plan that included foods I had already explained I couldn’t eat, such as eggs, and dairy, which I was advised to avoid in that same appointment. Unfortunately, the process felt quite generic rather than tailored to my specific concerns. I’m now over $500 out of pocket between appointments and supplements and feeling unsure about the value of continuing.

I would highly recommend Lesley! She’s incredibly knowledgeable and great at her job. She creates a warm and welcoming environment which makes a big difference when dealing with health issues, while still maintaining a professional manner. The staff at this clinic are very friendly and helpful as well!

I've been seeing Lesley on an off for a few years now and she's been instrumental in getting my health back on track, first after a period of chronic stress, and then through a pregnancy where I suffered with HG and was worried about the baby not getting enough nutrients. She's incredibly thorough and knowledgeable and leaves nothing to chance! The baby that I was so worried about is now a thriving, healthy, 2 year old. I will continue to go back to Lesley whenever I need a little extra support with my health and I feel lucky to have her as my trusted care provider.

After seeing a Psychologist at Caloundra for over 2 years I wrote this song about how it made me feel. White room, ticking clock on the wall, diploma staring down like they knew it all. I came in shaking, just trying to breathe, left with a label I didn't believe. You said, this is truth, you're living a lie. Like you could see through the back of my eyes, you drew a map of a life not mine and told me to walk it in a straight line. I was looking for healing, not a verdict in stone. Looking for someone to help me feel less alone. You said, tell your family, do it right now, in the quiet office,I didn't know how, my heart in my throat, hands in my lap, the floor felt thin, like it might crack. I came for help, I left in pain, drowning in doubt. I couldn't explain it. Therapy supposed to make you feel strong. Why did I leave feeling so wrong? Every session, it felt heavier still, like climbing a mountain against my will. You called it brave, you called it free, but it didn't feel like it to me. I started to wonder if I was sane. If disagreement, I was ashamed. She said the tears were proof, she was right, but they were just fear under fluorescent light. I was looking for answers, soft and slow, not a push off a cliff, nowhere to go. You said, tell your family, they need to know. Like ripping a wound just to watch it show. I sat there silent, splitting in two, trying to survive what you said was true. I came for hope, I left in despair, carrying words that weren't mine to wear. If healing means breaking down the door, why did I feel smaller than before? And I won't pretend it didn't get dark. There were nights I was scared of my own heart when the mirror whispered, just disappear. , cause everything felt too loud, too clear. But somewhere under the shame and fear, a quiet voice said, stay, stay here. This story isn't yours to write. No one else inside your life.I'm taking back that white walled room. Taking back all that gloom and doom. No one defines me with one decree. No one owns my identity.
