Over a year ago i had developed a chronically induced sustained injury and had sought after any medical suggestions, treatments or potential cures. By good fortune i was reffered by a friend to this clinic and i had never received such treatment before. It has been just under a year of weekly treatment and my shoulder is in the Good condition as i remember it, free of chronic pain and healed by the Good doctors' astute assessments and his team of attentative and sensible acolytes of his ancient trade. My despairs have been dispelled, my resilience, returned. Thank you very much. Highly recommended.

I visited the clinic to address chronic pain and attended weekly acupuncture sessions for about a month. I also purchased herbal tea prescribed by the practitioner at a cost of $100 per week, totaling $400 in addition to the acupuncture fees. Unfortunately, I did not experience any improvement in my symptoms. Given the lack of results and the high ongoing costs, I ultimately decided not to continue treatment. In the past, I’ve received acupuncture from other practitioners who took the time to explain the process and answer questions thoroughly. At this clinic, however, the initial consultation felt rushed and lacked sufficient explanation. I even had to call afterward to request clarification on aspects that should have been clearly discussed during the appointment. I understand that acupuncture does not work for everyone, but clear communication and attentive bedside manner are essential parts of patient care. I sadly wouldn't recommend for these reasons.

I’ve been a client at Richard Pain Free Acupuncture since July 2025, and I’ve never been disappointed with their services! All the staff at the clinic are the ultimate professionals and have the nicest friendliest manner. This is a very relaxed and professional clinic to visit. Dr. Cheng is amazing. His knowledge and care are exceptional. I am really happy with his treatment. I’ll be a repeat customer definitely. Highly highly recommend Richard Pain Free Acupuncture!

first session here with multiple issues. Dr listened very carefully and took notice of my multiple problems. He was gentle and caring with me having my first acupuncture session and I felt very calm and comfortable. A slight bit of discomfort but I felt a large release of tension, any pinching was worth it . I will be back regularly. It was easy to trust doctor. Me and my partner felt a change from this appointment. Thank you!

This morning, I was in so much back pain that I couldn’t even go to work. Fortunately, I visited Dr. Cheng based on a friend’s recommendation. After just one hour of comprehensive and professional treatment, I was able to walk normally again and felt significant relief. I’ll definitely continue with follow-up sessions. It’s rare to find such a skilled and dedicated practitioner in Brisbane — I’ll be recommending Dr. Cheng to all my friends and family.
