I had been struggling with ongoing back pain and a frozen shoulder for quite some time and decided to try acupuncture at Essential Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. After a number of regular treatments, I could genuinely feel my shoulder easing and my overall mobility improving — it was such a relief! The centre itself is beautifully clean, calm, and welcoming, which immediately put me at ease. Jacqueline was incredibly gentle, friendly, and professional throughout the entire process, always taking the time to make sure I was comfortable. I’m so glad I decided to give acupuncture a try here and would absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone dealing with pain or looking for supportive, high-quality care.

I'll be honest, I went into my acupuncture session with a fair amount of nerves and a slight fear of needles, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But from the moment I met Jacqueline, she put me completely at ease. She took the time to explain every step of the process, checked in with me throughout, and made sure I felt comfortable and respected the entire time. Her calm, caring approach made all the difference. By the end of the session I was completely relaxed, something I never thought I'd say about a needle-based treatment! I would highly recommend Jacqueline to anyone, especially those who might be a little apprehensive. She's truly wonderful at what she does.

I was suffering from a very tight lower back, glutes and fatigue and a friend had suggested I try an acupuncturist. Jacqueline from Eastential Acupuncture and Medicine really helped to loosen and relax my muscles. The effects were immediate and this enabled me to continue with my training and it improved my sleep. I really appreciated that Jacqueline took time to build a holistic understanding of my lifestyle before she started the treatment. She practices active listening, is consultative rather than pushy and she is always communicative throughout every treatment, which is reassuring. Dr Jacqueline is a wonderful practitioner that is attentive and diligent. She tailors her treatment prior to each session and is responsive to the changing needs of your circumstances in a way that means you get the most out of each session you have with her. I look forward to our sessions and I could not recommend her more highly.

Can't say enough good things about this place and it's practitioners. Empathetic, thorough, and genuinely caring that their patients health improve. They take the time to listen, and really understand the problem, with treatments backed by thousands of years of knowledge and experience.
