I visited Modern Acupuncture while I was in Adelaide from interstate, and I’m so glad I did. Luke definitely knows his stuff — extremely knowledgeable, gentle and professional. The space felt welcoming and calm, and Luke took the time to really understand what was going on for me. I left feeling relaxed, grounded and cared for. Kind, friendly, and genuinely invested in his clients’ wellbeing. Highly recommend.

I have been seeing Luke for acupuncture for the last 5 months for my chemotherapy-induced neuropathy. When I first saw Luke, I was in significant pain, could barely move or walk and had very poor quality of life. From the get go, Luke was welcoming, warm, supportive, and reassuring. He is incredibly understanding and takes the time to listen to my concerns and answer any questions! No matter the state I have walked into his room, Luke has been able to help me every single time. I have appreciated his explanation and reasoning behind everything he does, and it has been very interesting to hear about health from the perspective of Chinese medicine. I was aware of the evidence-base for acupuncture in the treatment of neuropathy prior to seeing Luke, but he has truly helped bring this to life and show me the genuine benefits. Luke has stuck by me throughout my journey and will continue to be a very important part of my treatment team. I urge anybody with neuropathy to seek Luke's services and stick by his treatment over the long-term. Results will not be instant, but they certainly do come with commitment, persistence, patience, and trust in Luke's expertise. Now, I have significantly more feeling in my feet and I am moving much better. Luke, I am so grateful to have crossed paths with you and I cannot thank you enough for all you have done for me so far.

Luke has been my Acupuncturist for many years - from nerve pain to muscle aches- My best ever was after I had an emergency Appendectomy - the after pains were constant and quite intense - I couldn’t believe how quickly they went - 3 visits - no more pain in the last 2 years. Recently I introduced my husband to Luke - he has a chronic lower back problem with a great deal of pain - he’s now right off the painkillers that are strong and have dangerous side effects .. other problems have been greatly alleviated in his hand and shoulder .. So thanks Luke - we are always going to need your professional help - Patricia & Michael

I’m writing a review about Luke’s services because I truly believe I owe him the acknowledgment and recognition. I started attending Modern Acupuncture 12 months ago in the hope of relieving my chronic pelvic pain. After almost 10 years of debilitating pain (with little support or relief from many other avenues), I walked into Luke’s clinic and told him my story. The fact that he made the time to hear it as part of the first consult was comforting. Since that first visit I have been impressed by Luke’s attention to detail, his non-judgemental attitude, his expertise, and above all, his kindness. It’s not been an easy journey for me with this pain and the potential ramifications, and I always feel supported by Luke’s services. My appointments have become a sacred commitment in my diary because of how I feel when I walk out of the clinic, and because of the positive long-term benefits I am experiencing. Luke supported my fertility treatment with accupuncture that lead to a successful pregnancy. He was a pleasure to visit as well as demonstrated extensive knowledge and clinical expertise providing treatment as appropriate throughout my journey to pregnancy and throughout my first trimester. Highly recommend.
