I had a massage for the first time at this place yesterday. When I was shown to the room, it looked lovely - clean, low lighting. Unfortunately, it all went downhill from there. Now, I have been having massages for decades. I have also been having trouble with my lower back (with pain going into my right leg) recently, as well as just having done a house move which involved a lot of carrying stuff to and fro so my body was screaming for a bit of help. My shoulders, neck and lower back all needed attention. I told my massage therapist that I had just moved and that I was very sore. He didn't seem very interested. From the outset, I wondered what was going on. He left the room a couple of times to answer the door, talk to the other massage therapist etc. Then he spent a tiny amount of time on my neck, and a LOT of time on my mid back, to the point where I had to ask him to please do some work on my lower back. He said it would be painful. Well, I knew that but it needed to be done. He did a bit of work there, reluctantly. A bit on my lower legs. And that was that. It was SUPPOSED to be a full body massage. It really wasn't. I wondered if he was actually a qualified massage therapist at all. I trusted that he was, but I shouldn't have. I am visiting the area at the moment but I would say to the locals: avoid having a massage with the bigger guy (didn't catch his name). Not worth your hard-earned money. I wish I had spent mine somewhere else.
The most benefit I have ever had from a massage. Fantastic. Some reviews talk about dizzy afterwards. As someone who knows physiology and massage, this is a strong indication of an effective massage.
Walked in for the first time and had the most amazing back, head and neck massage! My masseur (I'm sorry missed his name) was the best! Got to ALL the knots and tight muscle spots! Pressure's just wonderful, took his time on every knot, and made sure the tension's disolved! What an absolute pro! Highly recommended and will definitely come back!
My wife and I had a 45min foot massage and was one of the best we've both ever had.
