Really enjoyed my pregnancy treatments and saw results within 2.5hours of my second treatment..as my labour naturally kicked off and my baby was born that day without need for medical intervention. Helped with my stress also. My child and I were welcomed at each session, there were toys and books in wait room for little ones.
My husband saw Suzie for his acupuncture and she is absolutely incredible at what she does. She is the most gentle, healing, nurturing and kind woman ever and she makes your appointments feel like you’re simply ‘coming home.’ Could not recommend Suzie and her clinic more and we can’t wait to come back.
First time user of TCM and couldn't be happier with the results of acupuncture and cupping. 2yo 'wandering' thigh pain had defeated several other specialists, including physios, myotherapists, massage therapists, podiatrists, and more. After 1 session with Suzette I had no leg pain the next day for the first time in 2 years, and the same week was able to run again without pain. It's now about a month since my fourth session and although my leg still hurts if I try to find the pain by twisting, I have been able to re-start my long runs (21km) without any pain. So grateful to have found Albert Park TCM, and perfect timing, given CV19 means I now have time for running!
Feeling fab after my treatment yesterday- energy level much better. Thanks always amazing
Suzie is amazing! Caring, highly skilled and experienced, I’m so grateful!

QHow much does a session cost at Port Melbourne Traditional Chinese Medicine?
Fees are not listed here, so it is worth asking when you book. Across fifteen Australian clinics that publish their prices, an initial consultation runs $100 to $190, with most sitting between $105 and $145. Follow-up sessions run $50 to $130, most commonly $80 to $120.
The first appointment costs more almost everywhere, typically $20 to $40 more, because it includes a case history alongside the treatment and usually runs longer. Roughly a quarter of clinics will not quote you a full price list online.
Three things worth asking on the same call: whether herbs or cupping are charged separately — they usually are — whether the clinic offers on-the-spot health fund claiming, and what the cancellation policy is, because some charge a full session fee inside 24 hours.

QCan I claim a session at Port Melbourne Traditional Chinese Medicine on Medicare or private health?
Private health, usually yes. Acupuncture sits under natural therapies on most extras policies, generally pooled with remedial massage under one shared annual limit. As an example of the shape, HCF's Top Extras pays $40 a visit with an annual limit rising from $300 to $500 by year three, and nib's Top Extras pays 75% back against a $400 combined limit. Waiting periods of two months are standard. Recognition is fund-by-fund, so check that this practitioner is recognised by your fund before booking.
Medicare, only if your practitioner is a doctor. The four MBS acupuncture items all require a medical practitioner. A registered acupuncturist who is not also a doctor cannot bill them, and no other item covers their services. Acupuncture is also not on the eligible list for a GP Chronic Condition Management plan.
