I cannot recommend Jerry enough. As a born sceptic and child of a parent in health services I was dubious. Then I worked with a client with multiple disabilities who was able to live a life with not only higher quantity but quality due to his frequent visits to Jerry over the last 30 plus years. This person I know would not know what a placebo was. Every time he is taken over by a new , " health professional", who fills him with pills and potions from western medicine he returns to having daily seizures and so many physical as well as emotional complications. It is amazing to see the difference there is when he is under Jerry's care. When my own son suffered a severe shoulder injury I knew it was the end of his AFL and Gridiron career but I was hopeful he would avoid surgery and the resulting restricted movement etc for life that such a surgery would create. Working with Jerry and then going through rehab has meant my son has a good range of motion, qualified and works in sport and rec . He wont ever get to play AFL or Gridiron again but he lives a pain free life for now. Can't thank Jerry enough. Only down side is it is hard to get an appointment as he is so popular.

Dr Jerry has kept me well for over 30 years. I have lived longer than everyone in the last 3 generations of my family and I was never well when young. He is the most knowledgeable person I have ever met, and a gifted healer. He is always respectful, gentle and thoughtful Just wonderful. No praise is high enough.

I have been going to Dr Jerry Zhang for around 5 years, plus my entire family. I believe he was recommended to us, I'm not originally from Melbourne. The location is super hidden opposite Alfred Hospital and he is usually booked out at least a month. This is a testament to how amazing he is. The friendliest person you will ever meet, with a very old school filing system, no computers any where. He will ask you a few questions, make you laugh, feel your wrists and mutter words about your left side no good, stick out your tongue tell you not bad. Thats when you lay on the bed and he will stick needles in your body. He then leaves you for around 30minutes, going to other rooms attending to other patients while you lay in pain, sometimes the needles hurt a little, he finally returns to take them out. Then sends you on your way with your herbs and a print out with instructions on how to make them. The herbs taste yuk, but they work. This man is amazing, he helps a lot of women with fertility and people in general with stomach issues. He also has shared with me that some of his patients have cancer. Tell all your friends and take everyone you know who is open to Chinese medicine because he is definitely the best in Australia.

I first heard about Dr Zhang in the 1980’s as he treated an associate with malignant tumours around her heart area ... I believe she is leading an active life in NZ now (2020) When I got Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, my usual TCM Practitioner had retired (aged 92), I enquired after Jerry and sought his assistance. Dr Zhang is extremely knowledgeable about the immune system and his long term treatment not only strengthened my immune system, but assisted me to overcome my illness. I had radiotherapy on my initial tumour (upper right thigh, big as a goose egg) following Jerry’s advice, but chose not to when a small tumour appeared higher up, closer to my lady organs). Dr Zhang’s knowledge and gentility helped me to stay calm and overcome my fear(s). I don’t believe any one thing cures cancer and chose to steel my mind, follow a strict alkaline diet (for10+ years), meditate daily (more than once a day) and visit Dr Jerry Zhang monthly for TCM and Chinese herbs. Oh, and radiotherapy on that large tumour. I also had occasional PET scans to monitor my progress, even though I was worried about the amount of radiation I would be exposed to. Jerry assured me that it was the best way to monitor the disease. There is definitely time when East and West work well together in medicine ... I was diagnosed approx 2009 and have been in remission for approximately 5 years now I think (not 100% sure without looking up my diaries). I live quite an active life for my age and appreciate all the support I received from Dr Jerry Zhang (and his staff). The visits are usually monthly, so I chose to afford them. Spending money on your health can well be worthwhile.

I was treated by Dr Jerry and had extremely good results. I had a back problem of over 20 year's standing, but following his (admittedly excruciating!!) treatment, I have NEVER had a recurrence - and I used to have at least a week a year, sometimes more, where I was out of action, lying flat on the floor because that was the only position I was without pain. He is truly amazing.
